Our passion for travel has united us since day one. Exploring foreign countries, getting to know new cultures, people, and languages, and marveling at the beauty of nature are what drive us to travel. About us...<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Birgit & David <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

David was born in South Korea and grew up in New York City. Since graduating from college, he has worked for international tennis management companies, which has given him the opportunity to live in numerous countries around the world. His job takes him to the most luxurious hotels in Asia, Europe, and America, where he stays for a few weeks, months, or even several years at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I, Birgit, come from Austria and have always been fascinated by the wider world. After completing tourism school, I backpacked through Asia and Australia - an experience that sparked my passion for travel. Since that adventure, I have always been on the lookout for new destinations. The world is too beautiful not to be discovered. Working in tourism facilitates this passion, allowing us to live in the most beautiful countries rather than just visiting them briefly on vacation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Unsere Reise \u2013 Seit 2007 gemeinsam unterwegs, jetzt sogar zu dritt<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In 2007, our paths crossed at Lake Garda in Italy, where fate brought us to work at the same hotel. We got along great from the start, and five years later we got married. Since that summer together in Italy, we have also lived in the Maldives, Austria, Singapore, and Costa Rica. We both worked in (luxury) hotels there, which allowed us to experience a different side of travel\u2014in contrast to the backpacking trips we still love. Since 2023, we have been traveling as a family of three, showing our daughter the beauty of the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vor ein paar Jahren haben wir unser Zuhause in den Tiroler Alpen in \u00d6sterreich<\/strong> gefunden. Hier genie\u00dfen wir die atemberaubende Bergwelt in allen vier Jahreszeiten und nutzen jede Gelegenheit, um neue, faszinierende Reiseziele zu entdecken \u2013 immer auf der Suche nach den verborgenen Sch\u00e4tzen dieser Welt. Im Sommer 2025 <\/strong>brachte uns David’s Job in die Toskana<\/strong>, wo wir ein halbes Jahr Reisetipps f\u00fcr dich gesammelt haben. 2026 <\/strong>erf\u00fcllte sich ein langersehnter Wunsch – wir d\u00fcrfen die einfache, kleine Fr\u00fchst\u00fcckspension Sch\u00f6nblick<\/a> in Ellmau<\/strong> am Wilden Kaiser f\u00fchren und freuen uns, dich bald bei uns begr\u00fc\u00dfen zu d\u00fcrfen!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
